2 lb To 3 lb Chuck roast
2 Bags of Frozen Stew Veggies
-( The Large Ones)
2 cn Cream of Mushroom soup
1 Pack of Lipton onion soup

Quick and Easy Dinner

For all you working Parents: Here is a quick and easy Meal that is
ready to eat when you are. It is a pot roast you cook in the Crock

Put in the Crock pot the meat 2 1/2 cups of water the Soup on the top
of the meat put the Veggies on top of the soup. Turn on your crock
pot to ( if cooking 8 or more hours "LOW") if 6 or less ( "HIGH" )
When you get home it will be ready to eat!! Enjoy... Karl Moser


Yield: 4 Servings

4 Chicken breast halves; bone-
-in, skinless
4 md Russet or Idaho baking pota-
-toes; unpeeled, cut into 1"
1 Red or green bell pepper;
-cut into 1"x1/2" pieces
1 md Onion; cut into 8 wedges
2 tb Margarine or butter; melted
1/4 c Parmesan cheese; grated
1 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Paprika

Heat oven to 400~. Spray 15"x10"x1" baking pan with nonstick cooking
spray. Place 1 chicken breast half in each corner of pan. Place
potatoes, bell pepper and onion in center of pan. Pour melted
margarine over chicken and vegetables; sprinkle evenly with cheese,
garlic powder, and paprika. Bake at 400~ for 30 to 35 mins. or until
chicken is fork tender and juices run clear, stirring vegetables once
halfway through cooking.

Per serving - 370 cal (100 cal from fat), 11 g tot fat (3 g sat fat),
80 mg chol, 260 mg sod, 35 g total carbo (35 g fiber, 4 g sugars), 33
g pro. Dietary exchanges - 2 starch, 3 lean meat, 1 vegetable, 1/2 fat


Yield: 2 Servings

1 lb Chuck or other cut beef
1 Onion; sliced
2 Garlic cloves;chopped
2 Carrots; sliced
2 Celery stalks; diced
1 cn Stewed Tomatoes; 14.5 oz.
1 pk Lipton Onion/Mushroom Soup
1 tb Kitchen Bouquet
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 cn Mushrooms (optional)

----------------------TO MAKE THICKER GRAVY (OPT----------------------
2 tb Flour

Add the onion, garlic, carrots, celery to the crockpot. Place meat on
top of vegetables. Add the Worcestershire sauce, Kitchen Bouquet,
dry soup mix. Last, pour the stewed tomatoes over the top. I cooked
this on Low heat for 7 hrs then added the mushrooms and let it cook
for an hour or so more. When done, remove the meat and if a thicker
gravy is desired, stir in 2 T flour and set crockpot to high while
stirring for a minute or so. Serve with rice or noodles. (Or can add
cut up potatoes with the vegetables)


Easy Double Chocolate Banana Snack Cake
Yield: 1

2 c Flour; all purpose 1/2 c Banana; mashed ripe
1 c Sugar 1 tb Lemon juice
2 tb Cocoa; unsweetened 1 ts Vanilla
1 ts Baking soda 3/4 c Chocolate chips; semisweet
3/4 c Milk

Fat grams per serving: Approx. Cook Time: :15
Preheat oven to 350F. Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and
salt. Make well in centre of ingredients.
Add milk, banana, butter, lemon juice and vanilla.
Beat with fork till well blended, about 2 minutes. Stir in chocolate
chips. Pour into greased 9" square cake pan.
Bake in 350F oven for 45-50 minutes or till done. Cool completely. To
serve, sprinkle with icing sugar.

Nora Mill Easy Corn Bread
Yield: 10

1 c NORA MILL self-rise cornmeal 1/2 c Vegetable oil
1/2 ts Salt 2 Eggs, beaten
8 oz Sour cream 4 oz Cream style corn

Combine cornmeal and oil, add beaten eggs and stir. Add other ingredients
and bake at 400 degrees F. for 25-30 minutes or until done. Serve hot or
cold, especially good with a pat of butter and/or favorite jam or jelly.

Recipe Conversion to use Plain NORA MILL cornmeal:

Add/exchange the following items to above ingredient listing: 2 1/2 cups
Plain NORA MILL cornmeal, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. baking soda, and 2
tsp. salt.)
